Exchange Policy

Vedson’s returns and exchange policy gives you an option to return or exchange items purchased on Vedson for any reason within the specified return/exchange period (check product details page for the same). We only ask that you don’t use the product and preserve its original condition, tags, and packaging. You are welcome to try on a product but please take adequate measure to preserve its original condition. There are two ways to return the product to us.

Exchange/replacement is the action or process of replacing/exchanging a product in place of another product.

If any item or product is eligible for replacement/exchange than from that same seller only buyer can request for replacement/exchange of the same product or item. If an eligible item is out of stock from the same seller, it cannot be replaced/exchanged and instead of replacement/exchange only a refund against the returned item or product will be issued to the buyer.

1.Pick up: In most locations, we offer a free pick up service. You will see a pickup details when your return request is approved by the seller.

2.Self Ship: If we don’t offer a pick up at your location. In such cases, we will credit the shipping costs in the form of Vedson Credits/loyalty points provided the product meets the return policy and you have shared scan copy of the courier receipt with us.

During pick up, our logistics partner pickup person may do a quality check on the return if possible otherwise the quality check will be done by the seller once it reached to seller warehouse. Quality check at the seller warehouse will be considered final. Refund will be initiated after the product has been received at seller warehouse and product has passed a quality check of seller. If the picked up product does not pass seller’s quality check, seller shall ship it back to you. If you choose to exchange the item for reason of mismatch of size or receipt of a defective item, you will be provided with a replacement of the item, free of cost. However all exchanges are subject to stock availability of the requested size or colour by the customer with the seller and subject to your address being serviceable for any exchange. If you choose to exchange an item, our shipping logistics partner person will pick up the original item with original box and tags attached from you and then ship to the seller for quality check at seller warehouse. Please note that seller offer you an option to exchange/replace items purchased by you on Vedson for same or different sizes of same style from Vedson within the specified exchange period subject to your address being serviceable for an exchange and product availability with the seller.

Condition for Free Exchange

1.The exchange order will be shipped after seller receives the original ordered product and seller checks the quality of the product which is returned to seller by the customer. After product quality check is passed by the seller then only seller will ship the exchange/replaced order to the customer.

2.A new order will be created against customer’s replacement/exchange request after the approval of the request by the seller. And then customer has to track the same order in new order id.

3.Free exchange/replacement can be only done once per order. Means if item is returned for exchange/replacement once than it cannot be replaced free of charge 2nd time.

4.If item is not eligible for exchange/replacement than buyer can always ask for refund and return the item to the seller.

5.Cosmetics, Precious Jewelry, sunglasses, socks, deodorants, perfumes, briefs, shapewear bottoms, any lingerie set that includes a brief, swimwear, mittens, wrist-band cannot be exchanged or returned.

6.Some products like fine jewellery, watches and selected products which are susceptible to damage can only be return/exchange for a limited number of days. Certain products like sherwani can only be exchanged not returned. Please read the product detail page to see the number of days upto which a product can be return/exchange/replace post delivery. 7.All items to be returned or exchanged must be unused and in their original condition with all original tags and packaging intact (Eg. Shoes must be packed in the original shoes box).

8.Net amount paid by customer (excluding instant cashback/discount/promotional amount) to purchase original item will be considered to calculate difference in amount of original and exchanged item which will be payable by you or refundable by Vedson as the case may be for an exchange.

9.Applicable refund for exchange will be initiated post successful quality check passed by the seller of the original item from customer at seller warehouse.

10.Exchange/Replacement are only allowed for pincode which are serviceable for an exchange.

11.Items cannot be exchanged for multiple products and you are allowed to select single item for exchange. While customer can exchange multiple item at a time by initiating separate exchange/replacement request for each of the item.

12.Non-returnable products/categories cannot be exchanged or replaced.

13.Platform handling fees is not applicable to exchanged orders.

14.Exchange of any product/order can be done only once free of cost of shipping or handling charges. If customer want to exchange 2nd time the same order than handling fees of Rs 49 and shipping cost as per actual must be paid by the customer for the exchanged order.

15.Vedson shall reserve the right to restrict exchange of the items purchased on Vedson if customer in any way breaches or misuse this policy, as determined in Vedson’s sole discretion.

16.In case you have purchased an item which has a free gift/offer associated with it and you wish to return the main item, then you will have to return the free product as well.

17.Vedson will not be liable for the products returned by mistake by the customer. In circumstances where an extra or a different product is returned by mistake, Vedson would not be accountable for misplacement or replacement or exchange or refund of the product and is not responsible for its delivery back to the user.

18.If you self-ship returns, kindly pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. For all self-shipped returns, we recommend you use a reliable courier service which has online tracking facility to track the courier. Customer must send courier receipt on for self-ship return customer has done.

19.All self-ship returns must be addressed directly to sellers address only. Don’t send to Vedson Address anytime.

20.If you self-ship your returns, your shipping costs would be reimbursed subject to your return having met our returns and exchange policy and the image of the courier receipt is shared by customer and validated by us. For self-ship returns the refund for returned products will only be initiated if item has passed a quality check conducted by the seller at seller warehouse. If the quality check fails the product will be reshipped back to customer by the seller and customers shipping cost will also not credited to vedson credit account.

Steps to be followed for Exchange of an Order

Buyer need to raise the replacement/exchange request within the exchange/replacement period policy applicable for respective product which is mentioned on product page. Once buyer has made the replacement/exchange request and request has been raised than following steps must be followed.

1) New Return Request ID is created once the customer create new return request.

2) Intimation of return request is send to the admin for approval or rejection. If Vedson approves the request than request is send to seller for approval or rejection.

3) Request intimation is send to the seller for either approval or rejection of the exchange/replacement request.

4) After approval of the replacement/exchange request from the seller, buyer has to return the item to the seller.

5) A reverse pick up request will be generated with Tracking Air Way Bill and Vedson’s shipping partner person will come and collect the product from the customer and then deliver to the seller. Or seller will arrange to collect the product from the customer. Or in case shipping logistics partner is not available at customer location for pick up than in that case customer has to ship back the product to the seller.

5) After receiving of the item by the seller back, seller will check the quality of the item and the item if it is same as he shipped to buyer, original product, original brand outer box, MRP Tag intact if any, warranty card, user manual and original accessories of the item. After the quality check approval from the seller and once all exchange conditions are complied after checking of the product seller will send another exchanged item to the buyer. For that exchanged product a new order id will create and buyer has to track that new order id thereafter.

6)In case seller does not have the same product than seller can provide the refund to the buyer and buyer shall be obligated to accept the refund amount in place of exchange.

7)Exchange / Refund will be initiated after seller receives the item and quality check is passed. If returned item is not passed by sellers quality check than the same item will be shipped back to customer. And if customer have paid for reverse shipping charge than that charges will be not refunded to customer.

If quality check is passed than your shipping cost of Rs 50 will be credited to your Vedson Credit/loyalty points will be given to your account in Maximum Rs 200 will be given to customer for any self ship only after confirming the valid amount and valid courier receipt.

To return a product on Vedson, please follow these steps:

You can return products purchased from Vedson within the specified return/exchange period (check product details page for the same), except for non-returnable products and high value products which can only be returned for limited number of days

1.Create a ‘Return Request’ under ‘My Orders’ section of website/app/m-site. Follow the screens that come up after tapping on the ‘Return Product’ button and fill details as asked as per your requirement. Please make a note of the Return ID that we generate at the end of the process. Keep the item ready for pick up or ship it to seller basis on the return mode.

2.We offer pick-up facility in selected locations basis our logistics partner serviceability.

3.If reverse pick-up option is not available at your location you can self-ship the product to us.

Pick-up: If you select to schedule a returns, please place the original product in a packet and the product must be unused, unwashed and all the tags are intact with original manufacturer/brand box. Keep the packet ready and open to expedite the return pickup. Our logistics partner will pick-up the product from the customer and ship to seller for further quality check of the product at seller warehouse. After quality check is passed by the seller than only a new product will be shipped back in exchange of the order.

Self ship: In case customer area pincode is not eligible for “pick-up” then, please self-ship the product to seller back. Please pack the product and ensure product is unused, unwashed and all the tags are intact with original manufacturer/brand box. Please fix the return shipping label which is available on the website/mobile application. Also, please mention order no and return id on a piece of paper and place it in the packet. Kindly address the package to the address of the seller where you have to return the package. Please address the seller and your name, contact number and address properly.

Note: No products shall be accepted if the warranty card is missing while return or exchange of the products.

Does Vedson Pickup the product customer want to return from customer’s location?

Yes currently, we pickup products only from selected pin codes which is serviceable by our logistics partner, it may change at any time serviceable or unserviceable as per logistics partners availability, government notifications.

We will pick up the product within 3 days once the seller accepts the return/exchange/replacement request.

Why did the pickup of my product fail?

Our logistics partner will make 2 attempts to pick up the item, if the item is not picked up in the 2nd attempt, pick up request will be marked as failed by the logistics partner. If you want to again reattempt the pickup by the logistics partner than logistics partner may charge us amount and that amount we will charge to customer from customer vedson credit/promotional credit/loyalty points whichever possible, or you have to pay to us by online or offline mode or in cod mode when product is again reshipped to you. This payment will be decided by the vedson in case to case basis.

When customer will get refund of the amount in case of product not available for the exchange?

For any refund eligibility seller has to approve the refund request in case seller does not have product in exchange. Once seller approves the refund and informs Vedson to initiate the refund than within 2 to 4 days vedson will refund the amount in Vedson Credit in customers account on website/app/m-site. Seller will approve refund to the customer after seller has received the product back and the product has passed sellers quality check.

Will customer able to buy product from Vedson against this refunded amount?

Yes, customer will be able to buy any product on Vedson from there Vedson Credit.
