Replacement Policy

Replacement is the action or process of replacing a product in place of another product.

If any item or product is eligible for replacement than from that same seller only buyer can request for replacement of the product or item. If an eligible item is out of stock from the same seller, it cannot be replaced and instead of replacement only a refund against the returned item or product will be issued to the buyer.

Condition for Free Replacement

Item within replacement policy period and exact same item in stock with the same seller is only eligible for free replacement.

The free replacement order will be shipped by the seller only after seller receives the original ordered product and checks the quality of the product which is returned to seller by the customer.

A new order will be created against replacement request after the approval of the request by the seller. And then customer has to track the same order in new order id.

Free replacement can be requested by the buyer if below condition applies

a) Item received was physically damaged, defective, damaged during the shipping.

b) Item received has missing parts or accessories in the product.

c) Item received is different from the description on the product detailed page on

d) Item received is defective/does not work properly.

Free replacement can be only done once per order. Means if item is returned and replaced once than it cannot be replaced free of charge 2nd time.

If item is not eligible for replacement than buyer can always ask for refund and return the item to the seller.

Buyer need to raise the replacement request within the replacement period policy applicable for respective product which is mentioned on product page. Once buyer has made the replacement request and request has been raised than following steps must be followed buyer and seller both.

1) New Return Request ID is created once the customer create new Return Request.

2) Return Request intimation is send to the seller for either approval or rejection of the replacement request.

3) After approval of the replacement request from the seller, buyer has to return the item to the seller.

4) A reverse pick up request will be generated with Tracking Air Way Bill, shipping logistics partner of vedson will come and collect the product from the customer and then deliver to the seller. Or seller will arrange to collect the product from the customer. Or in case shipping logistics partner is not serviceable at customer location for pick up than in that case customer has to ship back the product to the seller by themselves.

5) After receiving of the item by the seller back, seller will check the quality of the item, item must be passed by the sellers quality check and the item if it is same as he shipped to buyer, original product, original brand outer box, MRP Tag intact if any, warranty card, user manual and original accessories of the item. After item is passed by quality check approval by the seller and once all replacement conditions are complied after checking of the product seller will send another replaced item to the buyer. For that replaced product a new order id will create and buyer has to track that new order id thereafter.

6) In case seller does not have the same product than seller can provide the refund to the buyer and buyer shall be obligated to accept the refund amount in place of replacement.

7) Replacement / Refund will be initiated after seller receives the item and item seller quality check is passed. If returned item is not passed by sellers quality check than the same item will be shipped back to customer. And if customer have paid for reverse shipping charge than that charges will be not refunded to customer.

In case seller does not respond to the replacement request within 24 to 48 hours than has right to accept or reject the replacement request of the buyer on behalf of the seller without any liability of And seller has to agree such decision of can also make decision of the refund of the amount to the customer on behalf of the seller without any liability of and seller has to agree such decision of


A free replacement cannot be created for an item which was returned and replaced once earlier.

If the item has missing parts or accessories, you may try to contact the manufacturer for assistance. Manufacturer contact information can usually be found on the item packaging or in the paperwork included with the item.

If your item is not eligible for free replacement due to any reason, you can always return it for a refund.

For replacement of the item, the same item with the same seller must be available than only replacement will be possible, otherwise refund will be initiated.

To return a product on Vedson, please follow these steps:

You can return products purchased from Vedson within the specified return period (check product details page for the same), except for non-returnable products and high value products which can only be returned for limited number of days

1.Create a ‘Return Request’ under ‘My Orders’ section of website/app/m-site. Follow the screens that come up after tapping on the ‘Return’ button. Please make a note of the Return ID that we generate at the end of the process. Keep the item ready for pick up or ship it to seller basis on the return mode.

2.We offer pick-up facility in selected locations basis our logistics partner serviceability.

3.If reverse pick-up option is not available at your location you can self-ship the product to us.

Pick-up: If you select to schedule a returns, please place the original product in a packet and the product must be unused, unwashed and all the tags are intact with original manufacturer/brand box, accessories and any other freebies included in the package. Keep the packet ready and open to expedite the return pickup. Stick shipping label on the package. Our logistics partner will pick-up the product from the customer and ship to seller for further quality check of the product at seller warehouse. Once quality check is passed by the seller than only a new product will be shipped back in replacement of the old order.

Self ship: In case your area pincode is not eligible for “pick-up” then, please self-ship the product to seller back. Please pack the product and ensure product is unused, unwashed and all the tags are intact with original manufacturer/brand box, accessories and any other freebies included in the package. Also, Stick shipping label on the package, also please mention order no and return id on a piece of paper and place it in the packet. Kindly address the package to the address of the seller where you have to return the package.

Note: No products shall be accepted if the warranty card is missing while return or exchange of the products.
